Introduction

Greetings, rangers! It is I, Zordon! A giant floating head in a tube and also a narcissist. You’re probably wondering how I got into this mess. Well, you see, in order to answer that question, we’ll have to go back in time 66 MILLION years ago, all the way back to dinosaur times. Back then, there were no telephone wires, or a bunch of other stuff, but there were DINOSAURS and they were really cool! This was my homebrew campaign setting, a world where prehistoric creatures, or at least 80’s animatronic monsters based on what people thought prehistoric animals were like, comingled with elves and dwarves and fairies and all other sorts of fey creatures. And monsters! MONSTERS! Woooaaah!
Of course, this setting was written 26 MILLION years ago, and because of their age and also the evil witch Bandra (we’ll get to her) I lost all my notes. But fear not! For in my long internment in this weird tube, I have learned that you mortals have independently discovered the advanced technology of Advanced Ludo™, although you know it as Advanced Dungeons & Dragons™. Using my memories and some guides I discovered on this thing called the “internet,” I have endeavored to rebuild my campaign setting within this rule set.
Now, based on what I’ve read on this “internet” I’ve realized that there are multiple versions of this “D&D” type game. This was all very confusing to me, but based on the research I’ve done it appears that of all the versions of this technology you people have yet invented, the best one seems to be “Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition.” It is the most current and up to date form, and so therefore should automatically be the best one, right? It’s at the very least a hell of a lot better than the garbage older editions. Perhaps, one day in the distant future when your technology advances even further, you may be capable of producing an even better game on par with the one I played 26 million years ago, which is objectively the best one because that’s the one I played when I was young. But, as it stands, I assure you that this “Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition” is the most radical, tubular (haha), badical, hippest, and high tech 90’s action game the world has ever seen!
There is a catch, though. As I said, I lost the notes and am relying largely on my memory to piece together the pieces of this long lost fantasy world. Because of this – and to avoid spoilers! – the material in this supplement will only contain that which appears in or is confirmed to exist in some capacity within the currently available episodes of the hot new children’s TV show – of which I am the star of – Dino Squad Power Rangers. That means that this is not yet a complete setting, as pieces are still missing. Using the magic of the internet, however, the resources here can and will be updated as soon as its finished. If future episodes of Dino Squad Power Rangers are completed, this means that information from those episodes will be added here too, meaning this could one day become a full guide to what would then be a complete setting. What's more, the executives had revealed to me that the show is being renewed for a full season of a whopping THREE episodes! Wow! Incredible!
However I must stress that the children's TV game is a seedy, cutthroat underworld of villainy, and unforseen clamplications may prevent these plans for the future of the show from coming to fruition, let alone this Officially™ Licensed™ Dino Squad Power Rangers™ multimedia franchise tie-in merchandise. So it could go either way, or no way at all! But I’m optimistic, and I’ll be saying MY prayers to the great Zordgnatheos for good fortune, and you should too, kids! Every night before bed, and every morning before you awake!
